Turn parcel labels into useful records with Parcel Scanner. Scan barcodes and QR codes, keep a timestamped history on your device, and connect your own webhook to send results into your workflow.
SCAN WITH YOUR CAMERA Point your camera at a code to capture it. Switch between available cameras and turn on the flash when your camera supports it. Read common formats including QR, Code 128, Code 39, EAN, UPC, Data Matrix, PDF417, and Aztec. Code readability depends on the label, lighting, and camera.
KEEP YOUR SCAN HISTORY Each saved code includes its format and scan time. Search previous scans and check whether a record is local, queued, delivered, or needs another delivery attempt. Scanning and local saving work without an internet connection.
CONNECT YOUR WEBHOOK Add your webhook URL and an optional bearer token. Send new scans automatically or send saved records manually. Requests include the code, format, scan ID, and timestamp as JSON. Failed deliveries remain available for retry while the app is open.
HANDLE DIFFICULT LABELS Read a code from an image or type it manually when a label is damaged or hard to scan. Codes already in history produce a duplicate error, even after restarting the app. Live camera scanning reads only the center frame; keep the entire barcode or QR code inside it. Camera scans save the full camera frame, while imported images save a resized copy, alongside the code and timestamp. View the saved photo from scan history. Set a history limit, such as 100 scans, to automatically remove older records and their photos, or choose 0 for unlimited. This also removes unsent records. Hear a confirmation beep when saved and a distinct error sound for duplicate scans. Manual entries and scans saved before this feature have no photo.
SET UP YOUR WORKFLOW Choose scan sound and automatic delivery preferences in the orange-and-white interface. The layout adapts to phones and larger screens.
Camera permission is used for scanning. Camera frames and imported images are processed on the device. Webhook delivery requires an internet connection and an endpoint you configure. Flash and camera switching depend on device support. Local history can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Scans already delivered to your webhook are managed by that endpoint's owner.
