Parcel Merge

GRAY HODGE LIMITED

About this game

Parcel Merge - a sliding puzzle played on a four by four field where parcel tiles carry a level number. A swipe up, down, left or right pushes every tile to that side, and two tiles of the same level join into a single tile one level higher, adding points to the score counter at the top of the game screen. One new tile appears after every move that changes the field, so free cells disappear as the field fills, and the round ends once no empty cell and no matching pair are left. The score and the highest level reached are kept across sessions and shown next to the current score during play. A pause panel is available at any moment and holds resume, restart and exit to the menu, while the end of a round shows the result of that run together with the top result. Settings hold a vibration toggle for merge feedback, an effects toggle for the merge flash and screen shake, three difficulty steps that change how often a higher starting tile appears on the field, a reset for the top result and a reset for all progress. The menu also opens a list of six achievements that unlock from real events - the first merge, one hundred merges, ten rounds played, level five, level eight and a score of one thousand - and a guide panel that explains the field, the swipe, the scoring and the end of a round. All settings and progress are saved on the device and read back when the game starts again.
