ParkSonar is a free, ad-free app with no in-app purchases that provides indicative information about potential availability of public parking spaces using community signals (Smart Parking).
If you opt in, ParkSonar sends a time-limited location ping when you start driving (detected via your car’s Bluetooth) to help improve parking availability estimates for others. The community view shows only the time and location where a spot was vacated.
ParkSonar uses your email to sign you in and manage your account. Your email is not shared with the community and is not included in Smart Parking signals. Smart Parking sharing is optional, can be turned off anytime, and may use precise location even when the app is closed or not in use to enable the feature.
We do not use location data for advertising.
