Cipher Post is a cryptogram on a vintage postcard.
Every card carries a short saying, and every letter in it has been swapped for another. Work out what each letter really is and the saying appears.
A new postcard comes every day, the same one for everyone. There's a stamp album to fill as well, so there's always another card to crack.
HOW IT PLAYS
• Press a letter on the card and slide sideways to turn the letter wheel, then let go
• Or tap a letter, then tap the wheel
• Each letter you try fills in everywhere it appears on the card
• The strip under the card counts how often each code letter turns up
• A few letters are decoded for you to start
THE STAMP ALBUM
• 96 postcards on 8 sheets, from Inland to Round the world
• Each card you crack earns a stamp and a postmark from its city
• Collect 8 stamps on a sheet to open the next
• Missed a day? The album keeps the last 14 daily postcards
• 150 sayings: old proverbs and new ones in the same spirit
STUCK?
Pick a letter and tap Reveal to see what it really is. Crack a card without revealing anything and it's delivered first class.
PICK YOUR LOOK
• Airmail: a cream card with red and blue chevrons
• Telegram: a sepia slip and typed strips on a walnut desk
• Night mail: sorting-van blue with coral and lamp-gold
