About this app

PassCall turns a screen in a room you walk through into a window to a friend's home. Leave it on. When you and a friend both walk past your screens at the same time, the window opens and you see each other, like neighbours over a fence. No calls to place, no notifications to answer. When one of you walks away, it closes.

Only people who have added each other can appear in each other's window. Nothing is recorded. The camera is used on the device, about once a second, to notice that someone is there; video and sound travel directly between the two homes.

Made for a tablet or an old phone on a shelf, a kitchen counter, or a hallway table. Needs Android 10 or later and a front camera.
