Not even a close comparison to iPhone 5 Have a DROID dna which scored 5000 on the cpu benchmark, where my friends iPhone 5 running the same benchmark did over 22000? Um, no, I really don't think so. Also, the memory was rated lower, even though the dna has twice the memory. The answer is simple; the tests run with big bars on the top and bottom on iPhone, where on the dna it runs full screen.
Quality and Accurate Great and simple to use tool to determine the quality of your device and compaire it to others. Make sure you have it configured for your CPU's CORES and RAM to get an accurate rating. In addition just because you receive a less than expected score does not indicate the app does not work. Never blame the horse for being a bad cowboy. In other words it could be user error or your device sucks.
NEWBIES NEED NOT APPLY Nexus 4 works fine if you Reboot (clears memory) and run it many times. Mine worked after 6 trys and is fine now. Set Display to 2 min. timeout. This is the ONLY way to know your cells potential but ONLY IN COMPARISON TO OTHER CELLS. CPU Test is only Raw Cpu Power and please iPhone5 is that powerful and more. True test of any device is HOW IT WORKS WITHIN THE OS Which is the Passmark score. These guys at passmark are excellent and since all scores are submitted individually they are NEVER SKEWED FOR MONEY.
Did what it said Tested all the components then compared to similar models. Didn't solve my problem! At least my issue doesn't seem to be hardware related. Now time to factory reset phone! Good thing for cloud storage!
Doesn't Work on the Motorola Moto G LTE (4G) (XT1039 Peregrine) Tried this a few times and all I got on hitting "Run Benchmark" was a message telling me "Canceling Benchmark" [SIC] message endlessly. I did manage to put it through nearly all of the individual tests one at a time but as I was unable to submit any results - so kinda pointless really. It also failed to recognise my (removable) MicroSD Card with a "Not Available" message. This may be a KitKat 4.4.4 issue I am unsure....
It's nice, but all of the devices it's comparing to are way old. It doesn't even have my Samsung Note 4 in its online database for a "Baseline" of what its base performance is (Have I tweaked it well and it's faster than that?). As for the operation of the app, it doesn't get any simpler to use! It's not a glitzy app. It just does what it does well.
