PHLEBOTOMY PRACTICE TEST, TEN AT A TIME
Built for phlebotomy NHA CPT candidates. Tap Start practice and answer a short set: ten by default, or choose five or twenty and one domain. After each answer you see why the right option is right and why each wrong option is wrong. At the end, retry only the questions you missed. Sets resume where you left off.
THE FIVE NHA CPT DOMAINS
The NHA CPT test plan weights the domains as follows: Safety and Compliance 26%, Patient Preparation 20%, Routine Blood Collections 28%, Special Collections 12% and Processing 14%. Topics include patient identification, consent, site selection, tourniquet use, needle insertion, complications, labeling, blood cultures, capillary collection, point-of-care testing, drug screening, specimen handling, centrifuging and transport.
ORDER OF DRAW PRACTICE
Put the tubes in order for real collection situations: evacuated tube holder, winged set (when a discard tube is needed), syringe transfer and capillary collection. Each tube shows its additive and closure color in words, and each case explains what error the order prevents.
NHA CPT EXAM PRACTICE MOCK
A 120-question, 120-minute practice mock: 100 scored questions in the test plan proportions plus 20 unscored questions chosen by the app to simulate pretest items. Flag questions, move back and forth, and submit when ready. The timer keeps running if you leave the app. You get a raw practice score by domain — not an NHA score and not a prediction of passing. Full access adds new mocks built from the whole bank.
FLASHCARDS AND NOTES
A flashcard and a short study note come with each question, so you can review a topic after you practice it.
ABOUT THE NHA CPT TEST
A free screen summarizes the exam facts we confirmed on NHA pages: format (100 scored and 20 pretest items in 2 hours), domains, eligibility, delivery and renewal, with the date we checked. Fees and scoring rules we could not confirm are marked as such.
WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT COVER
There are no questions on four administrative tasks: copayments and billing, patient registration, EMR data entry and coordinating non-laboratory staff.
