HerHello is international dating built around one rule: she speaks first.

WOMEN MESSAGE FIRST - ENFORCED, NOT SUGGESTED
On HerHello, only women can open a conversation. This is not a community guideline anyone can ignore. It is enforced in the database, so a man cannot send a first message even if he tries. Every conversation you are in started because she chose to start it. No cold openers, no inbox full of strangers.

She has 72 hours to open a match before it closes, so conversations start while the interest is still real.

VERIFIED BY A PERSON, NOT AN ALGORITHM
Members can choose to verify with a live selfie taken in the app. A real person compares it to the profile photos and, if it matches, the profile gets a verified badge. No document upload, no passport, no government ID - we do not ask for them and we do not store them.

Verification is optional, so you will see both verified and unverified members. If you would rather only see people who have been checked, switch on the verified-only filter and the feed adjusts to you. The choice sits with you rather than being made for you.

COUNTRY STAMPS
Match with someone from a new country and you earn a stamp for it. Philippines. Thailand. Colombia. Vietnam. Japan. Your collection grows as your connections do - a running record of where your conversations have taken you, with rarer countries worth more.

TRAVEL MODE
Heading somewhere next month? Set your destination and dates, and start appearing in the feed for that country before you fly. Conversations can begin before you land instead of on your first jet-lagged night.

MESSAGE TRANSLATION
Chat across languages without leaving the app. Translated messages appear inline, and one tap shows the original text so nothing gets quietly reworded.

TRAVEL PARTNERS
A directory of local guides, visa services, eSIM providers, insurance and accommodation, organised by destination country. Practical help for an actual trip.

INTENT TAGS
Every profile says what that person is looking for - serious, travel companion, or casual - so you know before you swipe rather than three weeks into a conversation.

SAFETY
No man can message you until you allow it, and that one is enforced by the database rather than by policy. Report and block are one tap from any profile or chat, and flagged content is read by a person. Members are 18+.

PREMIUM
HerHello is free while we grow. A free account gets 20 swipes a day. Paid features are not switched on yet - when they are, they will add things like unlimited swipes and seeing who liked you. Nothing you can do today costs money.

HerHello is for people meeting across borders who are tired of fake profiles and cold openers, and would rather start with a real hello from someone who meant to send it.
