PasugoApp Rider is the official delivery partner app for PasugoApp —
a multi-vendor food and errands delivery platform.
🚚 REAL-TIME DELIVERY TRACKING
When you toggle "Available" to accept orders, the app continuously tracks
your GPS location and shares it with customers in real-time so they can
see exactly where their delivery is on the map. This requires a foreground
service with a persistent notification that stays visible while you are
on active duty.
📍 HOW LOCATION TRACKING WORKS
• Toggle "Available" → A persistent notification appears:
"PasugoApp Rider — Active Delivery Tracking"
• Your location is sent to the server every 30 seconds or 50 meters
• Customers see your live position on their order tracking screen
• Toggle "Unavailable" or close the app → Tracking stops immediately
🔔 FOREGROUND SERVICE NOTIFICATION
While on duty, you will see a persistent notification in your notification
bar confirming that location tracking is active. You can stop tracking at
any time by toggling your availability off.
