Work out knitting counts from measurements you enter yourself. Knitting Gauge & Pattern Math keeps your source numbers, arithmetic and rounding visible, so you can check each result against your own swatch.
GAUGE AND ROW COUNTS
Enter your measured stitch or row count, measured length and target length. Calculate a target count in centimetres or inches. See the raw answer, rounded count and rounding change. Resize an existing count using an explicit source and target length.
STITCH CHANGES
Distribute single-stitch increases or decreases across flat or circular work. Choose protected edge stitches and inspect balanced gaps and original-stitch positions. Schedule changes across an explicit row span.
BUTTONHOLE SPACING
Set your stitch span, first position, ending margin, opening width and number of buttonholes. Review start positions and clearance assumptions. Zero-width mode is a point-placement helper.
