About this app

Shri Gurukumareshwar Religious Pathshala is a spiritual and cultural learning center where students are trained in Vedic mantras, devotional songs, poojas, and religious practices. The Pathshala aims to preserve and spread the rich traditions of our culture while providing moral education to students.

Students are regularly taught devotional and spiritual songs, including Bhajans, Keertans, Stotras, and Shlokas relevant to our tradition. These songs are performed during festivals, spiritual gatherings, and events organized by the Pathshala. The main objective is to promote devotion and cultural values among students and devotees.

Mangala Aarti, a traditional prayer performed to seek blessings, is also taught to students. They learn to perform Aarti with proper rituals, chanting, and singing. On invitation, the Pathshala team visits devotees' homes, temples, or events to perform Mangala Aarti with full devotion. Aarti is usually conducted on special occasions such as Guru Purnima, Maha Shivaratri, Sankranti, Ugadi, and other spiritual festivals.

The Pathshala maintains a detailed list of poojas. Devotees can request specific poojas such as Rudrabhisheka, Satyanarayana Pooja, Navagraha Pooja, Lakshmi Pooja, and others. After performing the pooja, proper records are maintained for transparency. The Pathshala also provides devotees with the required list of pooja materials in advance.

Several programs are organized throughout the year, including religious festivals like Guru Purnima and Maha Shivaratri, spiritual discourses and pravachanas by scholars, Bhajan Sandhya (Devotional Evenings), and student cultural programs such as skits, dance, and music on festival days. Event schedules are displayed on the school notice board and website for devotees and students.

An annual calendar is prepared with all spiritual and cultural events clearly marked. The Panchanga (Hindu Almanac) is used to determine auspicious dates for poojas and festivals. Devotees can check the calendar to plan their participation in events well in advance.

Donations from devotees and well-wishers help in supporting students with books, clothes, and food, maintaining the Pathshala building and facilities, organizing free health checkups and community services, and arranging religious programs for the community. All donations are recorded, and receipts are provided for transparency.

The Pathshala has both active students and an alumni group who contribute to events, mentoring, and financial support. Students are taught not only rituals but also discipline, devotion, and cultural values. Special training sessions, spiritual camps, and competitions are also conducted for students.

More information, photos, and updates are shared on the official school website and social media pages. Contact details for bookings, donations, or event participation are available online, and devotees can subscribe to updates for upcoming programs and activities.
