AirRadar shows you all airplanes, gliders, and helicopters in your vicinity in real time – on a classic radar or an interactive map.
REAL-TIME RADAR
The pulsating sweep radar updates every 3 seconds. See aircraft with altitude, heading, speed, and flight path at a glance. Altitude coloring instantly shows you whether an aircraft is on final approach or cruising altitude.
MAP VIEW
Switch between radar and map – including airports near you. Tap on an aircraft for details: type, airline, country of origin, photo, and planned route.
MORE THAN JUST AIRLINERS
Thanks to the Open Glider Network (OGN), you can also see gliders, hang gliders, balloons, and small motorized aircraft – not just the big airliners.
AIRCRAFT COLLECTION
Collect aircraft types like a logbook. From the Cessna 172 to the Airbus A380 – over 100 types in 9 albums are waiting to be discovered. Every sighted aircraft is automatically recorded with a photo, date, and flight data. Complete albums receive a gold badge.
NOTIFICATIONS
Get notified when a new aircraft enters your radius – even in the background. Filter by all aircraft, only scheduled flights, or your personal watchlist.
STATISTICS
How many aircraft flew over you today? The hourly chart shows you peak times and countries of origin.
FILTER OPTIONS
Selectively show or hide: scheduled flights, small aircraft, gliders, light aircraft, other, and airports – fully customizable.
DATA PROTECTION FIRST
No registration. No advertising. No in-app purchases. Your location
never leaves your device in a personally identifiable form – it is used
solely to locate aircraft near you. All collected data remains locally on your device.
