About this app

Patride Vendor is the app your business runs on when you sell through Patride.
It is for shops, gas dealers, restaurants and tradespeople.

Customers near you find what you sell, order it and pay for it before anything
reaches your counter. The order appears on your phone the moment it lands, and
a rider is on the way while you are still packing it.

TAKING AN ORDER
Every order arrives with what was bought, where it is going and how far away
that is. Accept it, or say you cannot fulfil it and choose a reason, so the
customer hears something useful instead of silence. Then: start preparing,
then ready for pickup. That is the whole flow, and you can step back if you
tap one by mistake.

YOUR PRICES AND YOUR SHELF
You set the price of every item you list. Photograph your own stock so people
see what is actually on your shelf. Mark something out of stock in one tap and
it stops being orderable straight away — it stays visible, so customers know
you carry it and can come back when you restock.

STOCK THAT MATCHES THE ROOM
Count what is there and adjust by what arrived, rather than typing a running
total. A delivery lands, you add twenty. Items running low are filtered rather
than hunted for.

WHAT YOU HAVE EARNED
Every order shows what you earn from it before you accept. Earnings lists each
order with the reference printed on it, so a query is a matter of reading a
line out rather than reconstructing a week.

WHERE THE MONEY GOES
Set the bank account your earnings are paid into. The account number is
checked against your bank, and the account holder's name comes back for you to
confirm before anything is saved.

THE PEOPLE WHO WORK WITH YOU
Give a staff member your shop code. They enter it, you approve them, and you
choose what they may do. They work the orders; only the owner sees the money.

MORE THAN ONE PREMISES
Open a branch from inside the app and switch between shops without signing out.
A branch can start with a copy of your prices, or with an empty shelf.

BUILT FOR THE COUNTER
One hand, in bright sun, on a connection that comes and goes. Work you do while
offline is sent when the signal returns rather than lost.

GETTING STARTED
Register in a few minutes and send your documents through the app. A reviewer
checks them, usually within a working day. Nothing is visible to customers
until that is done. You remain an independent business: you decide what you
stock, what you charge and when you are open.

Patride operates in Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, Kampala and Dar es Salaam.
