Pause uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to support its core functionality of blocking distracting apps during focus sessions.

This allows Pause to:
• Detect when selected distracting apps are opened
• Block or redirect those apps while a focus session is active

Pause does not use this permission to collect personal data, monitor sensitive information, or perform any actions outside of its core focus features.

This permission is only activated with your explicit consent and can be disabled at any time in your device settings.
