About this app

You can send email with this Tasker plugin, without user interaction. (For example sms forwarding to email...)

You have to select Tasker Email Sender in the plugin menu, and set all information field.
(host, port, smtp_user, smtp_pass, from address, to address, subject, body. If you want send SMS text in body = %SMSRB)

- Can use Tasker variables in fields
- Attach a file from droid file system.. (the path is also possible tasker variable)

We recommend smtp server to Gmail.

If you can't send email with gmail account you have to enable third party application is google security settings...

Hmm works for me. I used it to forward sms to email. So I have pritty much an old phone lying around and it forwards the messages. However I put the phone in developer mode so it doesn't look while charging. I'm not sure if this is the reason why it works reliable on my old Sony phone.

Great dev! I requested silent mode and within 2 days a new version was published with that included! Handy for auto generated messages from tasker. Most email plugins require you to use an email account registered on the phone so the sent folder gets spammed with all the auto messages, whereas this one allows you to use a dedicated email account from within the plugin without it coming up in your main email app. Much better!

Plugin is very unreliable. Works fine when triggered manually. If it's in Tasker profile - works sometimes only. (tried to make simple sms forwarder)
