About this game

You are the approach controller. Aircrafts appear on your radar. Land the arrivals, send the departures on their way, and never let two aircraft get too close.

ATC Shift is a radar-screen game about precise decisions under pressure. Tap an aircraft, set its heading, altitude and speed, clear it for the ILS and hand it off. The pilot reads back your order and flies it a moment later.

HOW A SHIFT WORKS
• Arrivals: bring each aircraft onto the final approach line at the right speed, height and angle, clear it for the ILS, then hand it to the tower.
• Departures: send each one direct to its exit fix, climb it to the handoff altitude and hand it to the next sector.
• Separation: keep every pair of aircraft at least 3 nm or 1,000 ft apart. The radar warns you before it happens. Three separation losses end your shift, and a collision ends it at once.
• Traffic builds up the longer you last. Pause or speed up time whenever you need to.

REAL AIRPORTS
• Madrid-Barajas (LEMD) and New York JFK (KJFK), with their real runways, runway configurations, approach lines, navigation fixes and terrain.

NEW TO AVIATION?
A short tutorial explains the basics: what a heading is, what an ILS does, why controllers hand off aircraft and how holding works. Already know aviation? Choose the quick version with just the game's rules.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Earn tiered achievements, shown as flight strips, for clean radar scopes, busy approaches, long shifts and landing on every runway.

PLAY IT YOUR WAY
• Works fully offline.
• No ads, no accounts and nothing collected: your scores stay on your phone.
