Downloaded files, scanned documents, and PDFs awaiting organization often end up in different places. PDF Reader: Scan & File Tools brings file search, reading, and everyday PDF tasks together. Find a file, then convert, organize, save, or share it from the same app.

Find files on your device

Once you grant file access, the app searches multiple storage directories for supported files and displays them in a file list. View all files or narrow the list to PDFs, Word documents, Excel files, PowerPoint presentations, or images. Use search to locate the item you need.

File names, dates, and sizes help you distinguish similar files and check their details. Open a PDF to read it without converting it first.

Create PDFs from paper documents and images

Use Scan to PDF to open the camera, capture a paper document, and create a PDF on your device for later viewing and organization.

Use Image to PDF to turn existing images into a PDF. When you need individual PDF pages as images, export them with PDF to Image. Choose the format that suits how you want to save or share the content.

Organize PDFs for the task at hand

Combine related files into one document with Merge PDF to reduce the need to find and send them separately. Use Split PDF to divide a PDF into separate files when you want to save its contents individually.

Add password protection with Lock PDF when you need to restrict access. Unlock PDF works with supported PDFs that you are authorized to access and for which you can provide the correct password, so you can continue processing them.

Return to useful files and handle everyday tasks

Recent and Bookmarks on the home screen help you resume work on recently used files or reopen saved favorites. Bookmark documents you use often to spend less time searching for them again.

Use the file menu to rename files, view details, share documents, or delete items you no longer need. Import lets you select files for processing. When you need a paper copy, use Print to print a PDF document.

Process documents on your device

File browsing, document scanning, image-to-PDF and PDF-to-image conversion, merging, splitting, and password operations are performed locally on your device. No registration or sign-in is required. The app does not provide document uploads, cloud storage, or cloud synchronization.

Original and generated files stay on your device until you delete them. Continue reading, organizing, sharing, or printing them as needed.
