Scanned PDF, photo or Hindi document → an editable Word file that still looks like the original.

PDF Retype reads PDFs, scanned pages, photos of documents and Office files, and gives
you back the format you actually need. Scanned pages are read automatically with OCR,
and the document's structure — headings, tables, columns, images — is rebuilt rather
than dumped out as a wall of text.

HINDI AND DEVANAGARI, PROPERLY
Mixed Indian-language and English paperwork is where most converters quietly drop half
the page. A GST invoice with Hindi labels beside English amounts, a form with a Tamil
column — PDF Retype finds the Indian-language text even when it is a small part of the
page, in a scan or a photo, without you setting anything. Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit,
Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia and Malayalam are all
recognised. The rupee sign stays attached to its number, and legacy Kruti Dev typing
becomes real Unicode you can search and edit. You can still pick a language by hand
under Scan language if a difficult scan needs it.

HONEST ABOUT LIMITS
Fair-use limits — 25 MB per file and 50 pages per PDF — keep the service quick for
everyone. OCR accuracy depends on the quality of the scan, so always proofread
converted text before relying on it, especially anything legal, financial or medical.
A PDF that does not embed its own fonts cannot be read faithfully by anybody, and we
tell you that instead of quietly mangling it.
