"Explore Lower Silesia" is a mobile app designed for history enthusiasts, explorers, and anyone who wants to delve deeper into the region's rich cultural heritage. It combines traditional sightseeing with modern spatial visualization technology, allowing for a literal glimpse into the past.

Key app features:
3D Spatial Visualizations (Time Travel):
At selected historical sites, the app displays detailed 3D reconstructions of ancient architecture. By rotating your device, you can look around the area and see what it looked like centuries ago. This experience allows you to feel as if you were in the same place, but in a completely different era. Comparing the Past with the Present:
Using the transparency button, you can easily compare the former appearance of a site with its contemporary appearance. See how time, historical events, and reconstructions have transformed the local architecture.

Voiceover and themed videos:
Travel without having to constantly read long texts. Each location is accompanied by a professional voiceover, which highlights key facts, legends, and historical context. Additionally, key aspects of the era and the history of the main attractions are presented in the form of short, dedicated videos.

Active Discovery (Gamification in the Field):
The app encourages you to get out of the house and actively travel. In each available location, one historical point is unlocked at the start. To access subsequent points, you must go there in person – the app will detect your presence and unlock subsequent stories and visualizations.

Currently, the app offers routes and historical reenactments in 5 unique locations in Lower Silesia:

Wrocław – discover the former face of the regional capital and its key monuments.
Świdnica – discover the rich history of local bourgeois and religious architecture.
Srebrna Góra – see how a mighty mountain fortress functioned.
Bystrzyca (near Oława) – discover the history of this picturesque village and discover the secrets of the nearby early Slavic stronghold of Ryczyn.
Tyniec Mały – discover local curiosities, monuments, and secrets of a town with an impressive history spanning over 800 years.
