Nestlings gives childcare providers, educators, and families one secure place to share each child's day and manage the work around it. Replace paper daily sheets, scattered messages, and disconnected records with a simple experience designed for Canadian childcare communities.

DIGITAL DAILY SHEETS

Record meals, naps, diapers, activities, moods, learning moments, medication, incidents, notes, and photos. Educators can add an update for several children at once, while parents see approved updates in a private feed.

ATTENDANCE AND CHILD RECORDS

Check children in and out, mark absences, and review attendance history. Keep schedules, allergies, medical notes, and emergency contacts accessible to authorized staff. Room-based organization helps centres keep daily work focused.

FAMILY COMMUNICATION

Send direct messages and program-wide announcements, share photos, and notify families about important moments. Parents can follow arrival and pickup updates, view their child's day, and keep conversations with educators organized.

PLANNING IN ONE PLACE

Build weekly lesson plans across eight learning domains, publish menus, and share events, closures, holidays, reminders, and field trips. Parents see the information their provider publishes without searching through separate apps or paper notices.

BILLING AND PAYMENTS

Providers can create invoices, apply tax, track payment status, and record cash, e-transfer, or cheque payments. When enabled by the provider, families can pay eligible childcare invoices by card. Payments relate to real-world childcare services.

WAITLIST AND TEAM TOOLS

Providers can move prospective families from inquiry to enrollment, invite staff, assign roles, and configure features to fit their program.

PRIVACY-MINDED ACCESS

Children do not create accounts. Parents join through their childcare provider's invitation, and each person's access is limited by their role and relationship. Photos are stored privately, data is encrypted in transit, and users can request deletion in the app or online.

Nestlings is made for Canadian day homes, daycare centres, preschools, and childcare agencies. Parents use Nestlings at no cost. Parent access requires participation and an invitation from a childcare provider. Available tools may vary according to each provider's settings.
