About this app

Ro Flight is a flight-planning and monitoring companion for general-aviation pilots in Romania.

Plan, fly, and file — all in one app:

• PLAN ON THE MAP
Draw your route on an interactive map. Drop waypoints or define a zone flight, pick your departure, destination, and alternates, and build a complete ICAO flight plan.

• FILE WITH ROMATSA
File your flight plan directly with the Romanian flight authority (ROMATSA). Send arrival (ARR) and cancellation (CNL) messages to close or cancel a filed plan — without leaving the app.

• MONITOR YOUR FLIGHT (planned for implementation)
Track your live GPS position with smooth, continuous updates, and stay aware of nearby NOTAMs (restricted and warning areas) along your route.

• YOUR AIRCRAFT, YOUR WAY
Save multiple aircraft profiles with their ICAO equipment, performance, and emergency details, plus your pilot profile — ready to attach to any plan.

• BUILT FOR PILOTS
A clean, dark, glare-friendly interface designed for the cockpit.

Ro Flight uses your location only while the app is open, to show your position and nearby NOTAMs — your location never leaves your device. Filing a flight plan requires a free ROMATSA account.

What’s new

Record your flights. Tap Start Flight on the Go Fly map and Ro Flight saves the track on your device.

Flight Log — a new menu entry with every recording you have kept, and the controls to delete them.

A report for each flight: distance flown, furthest point, max altitude, max and average ground speed, best sustained climb, and a note of your own. More statistics to come.
