Peekahed helps you “peek ahead” and see what’s happening in places around you through recent, crowd‑shared photos on a live map. Instead of guessing how busy a spot is or what the road ahead looks like, you can quickly browse real images shared by other users nearby.
Photos are shown directly on Google Maps with smart clustering. When many photos are close together, Peekahed groups them into a single, clear circle with a count, so the map never feels overloaded or messy. Tap a cluster to open a clean, full‑screen gallery and swipe through all photos in that area, with the newest images shown first. This makes it easy to scan what’s going on at a location in just a few seconds

Uploading is simple and privacy‑aware. You can capture a new photo in the app or share an existing one, then optionally add a brief comment to give context (for example: “traffic jam”, “quiet cafe”, or “heavy rain”). Before anything is sent, Peekahed uses on‑device AI to detect faces and visible text. Detected faces and sensitive text regions are automatically blurred on the image, so you can share what’s happening without exposing other people’s identities or private details. You also see a confirmation preview so you know exactly what will be uploaded.
If you don’t want to share a real photo, you can post a “comment‑only” update. The app renders your text on a simple, readable image and uploads that instead, so your message can still appear as a map marker without needing your camera.

A dedicated “My Photos” section lets you review everything you’ve shared. From there you can open any image, check its location and comment, or delete it if you change your mind. Deletions are reflected on the map so your content stays under your control. To keep the map fresh and avoid long‑term tracking, Peekahed also automatically removes older photos after a short retention period.
Peekahed uses Google Sign‑In so you can get started quickly with your existing Google account. No extra passwords to remember. A simple in‑app feedback form allows you to send issues or suggestions directly to the developer, optionally with a screenshot, so the app can improve over time.
