About this app

PenDF is an offline Android workspace for documents. Read and annotate PDFs, take handwritten notes, and open documents, ebooks and text files in one place.

Read and mark up PDFs • Move through pages, zoom in, and search document text. • Write with pen tools and highlight important passages. • Cover a section with a Hidden Tag, then tap to reveal it. • Use Reading Mode for a comfortable text layout. Listen with a speech engine installed on your device.

More files in one workspace • View DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files. Open supported EPUB, TXT, Markdown and other text files. • Switch between open documents with tabs. Jump from search results to matching content in supported document views. • Capture ideas with handwritten notes and an infinite canvas.

Make space to focus • Arrange your workflow with Work tabs, a timer and focus tools. • Open files through Android's file picker. Optionally allow All Files Access to list supported documents across device storage.

PenDF does not require an account. Your documents and notes are processed on your device; the app contains no ads or user behavior analytics. Rendering can vary with the contents of a file.
