The fates of many famous people are somehow connected with Omsk. The whole history of the city of Omsk is inextricably linked with the history of Russia and is part of it. We tried to tell about the history of Omsk land briefly, simply and interestingly. Discovering our “Omsk Stories”, you will add a surprisingly vivid picture of the historical life of the Omsk land, full of heroic deeds and labor achievements of Omsk. The biographies of the great people who made the history of Omsk, Siberia and Russia will become more understandable and remembered. You can’t love what you don’t know. We hope that Omsk Stories will help you learn and remember bits of history of your people, your land.

The application is available in Russian. The release of the Omsk Stories free application is timed to coincide with the opening of the Omsk Toy - Omsk Stories mobile interactive exposition, which was created to conduct additional interactive patriotic classes in schools. The application provides 2 modes: “History” (to familiarize yourself with the life of famous people, events and traditions) and “Test” (to verify the assimilation of knowledge). After passing the Test, the result (the number of points scored) is displayed on the screen, which helps the teacher conducting an additional study of local lore, evaluate the work of the teams and determine the winner.
