Gwansang is the Korean art of reading a life in a face.
Long before personality quizzes, physiognomers read the forehead, the brow, the eyes, the nose, the mouth and the jaw, and told you what each said about temperament, luck and the years ahead. This app does the same thing, from a photo, on your device.
TWELVE PALACES, ONE FACE
The reading is not a single verdict. It is built from the twelve palaces of the classical tradition — forehead, brows, the space between them, eyes, nose, philtrum, mouth, lips, jaw, chin, the shape of the face and its symmetry — each anchored to a part of the face and each with its own paragraph. You get a map, not a fortune cookie.
FIVE ELEMENTS AND THREE COURTS
The face is also read as a whole: which of the five elements it leans toward, and how the three courts — upper, middle and lower — balance against one another. That balance is where the tradition says the arc of a life shows.
COMPATIBILITY
Add a second face and read the two together. Where the elements support each other, where they clash, and which palaces are doing the work.
A PRIMER YOU CAN ACTUALLY READ
Chapters on where gwansang comes from, what the palaces mean, and how to look at a face without a phone. The app is the tool; the primer is the craft.
EVERYTHING HAPPENS ON YOUR PHONE
The face is found on-device. No photo is uploaded, nothing is sent to a server, and there is no account. This is face DETECTION — finding where a face is in a picture — and not face recognition: the app never tries to work out whose face it is, and stores no identity of any kind.
TICKETS, NOT A SUBSCRIPTION
The overall reading is free. Each in-depth report — character, wealth, love, career — costs one ticket, and tickets come in packs of 3, 10 and 25. Nothing expires and there is no monthly charge. Once a report is open it stays readable.
FOR ENTERTAINMENT
Gwansang is a tradition, not a diagnosis. Nothing here is medical, psychological, financial or legal advice.
