Permit Path turns your state-issued oversize/overweight permit PDF into a real GPS drive view — turn-by-turn, with voice prompts, off-route alerts, and a moving map. No more manually typing every turn into another nav app at the truck stop.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Upload your permit PDF (Texas TxDMV supported in this release; more states rolling out)
2. Permit Path parses every turn, road, and direction automatically
3. See the full corridor on the map before you roll
4. Tap LET'S GO to enter Drive Mode — voice prompts, off-route detection, live mph readout
5. Stay on the legal route. Don't pay a fine.

WHAT THIS APP IS NOT

• Government affiliated — you bring your own permit from an issuing state.
• Not a routing engine — your permit is the route. The state already chose your path. Permit Path follows it; it does not auto-reroute around traffic. Auto-rerouting is exactly how truckers end up off the permitted corridor and stuck with thousands in fines.
• Not a fleet tracker — your GPS location is processed only on your device. We never transmit your location to our servers.
• Not Hammer — we built this because Hammer makes you type every turn manually. We don't.

PRIVACY

• Uploaded permit PDFs are processed in memory on our backend and not retained.
• Your GPS location is used only on your device. We never receive it. Never store it.
• No advertising IDs, no behavioral tracking, no third-party analytics in this release.

REQUIREMENTS

• Android 7.0 (Nougat) or newer
• Location permission required for Drive Mode
• Internet connection required to upload and parse the permit PDF; once parsed, your saved permits work offline

SUPPORT

This is an early Internal Testing release. We are actively iterating with real truckers running real permits. If a permit doesn't parse, if a turn is wrong, if a voice prompt feels off — please tell us. We need that feedback to make this the navigation app the industry actually deserves.
