About this app
Background Video Recorder (BVR System) is a fast, reliable background video recorder that keeps recording video even when you switch to another app or turn the screen off. It runs as a proper Android foreground service, so your video recording continues in the background — with the system camera and microphone indicators always visible.
Need a simple video recorder that records video in the background with one tap? Background Video Recorder starts and stops recording instantly, with no confirmation pop-ups.
MAIN FEATURES
• Background video recording — record video while you use other apps, or with the screen off/locked (depending on your device).
• Quick Record — start or stop video recording in one tap from a home-screen shortcut, a widget, or a Quick Settings tile.
• 4K video recorder — record in up to 4K (UHD), with HDR and video stabilization where supported. 1080p Full HD and 720p HD video are also available.
• Capture profiles — save camera, resolution, frame rate, audio and auto-stop presets for the back or front camera, and switch instantly.
• Long video recording — an auto-stop timer and automatic file splitting protect long recordings.
• Private video recorder — your recordings are saved to the app's private folder and are not shown in the Gallery.
• App lock — protect your videos and settings with a 4-digit PIN.
• Customizable recording notification — choose what it shows, or set your own text.
• Record with microphone audio, or video only.
• Thai and English — switch the language in Settings, or follow your device.
• No account and no sign-in. Your videos stay on your device.
Background Video Recorder works great as a background camera recorder, a screen-off video recorder, a quick video recorder, and a private HD and 4K video recorder for everyday use.
This app is designed for recording your own activity on your own device. While recording, Android always shows a notification and the camera and microphone indicators — nothing is recorded silently or automatically.
