I've been having 2 problems for last couple weeks and have not received a response through email also. 1. When linking an account, if you get the password wrong, you don't get a chance to correct it cuz after clicking "link" it automatically uses the same credentials which is wrong, then asks you to delete it, starting the cycle over and over. 2. When linking websites that have an additional security such as receiving the code to the phone. Personal capital asks you to enter the code on the linking setup but the code never gets delivered.
The app and personal capital service are very useful to help track spending and saving (and monitor investments, including 401k / retirement plans). Sometimes there have been issues with some accounts updating but that seems to be fixed now and the app works well.
I downloaded the app over a week ago.. i was able to link most of my cards and amounts that I wanted to. However I've been trying to link my discover card. The app says "it's having trouble, and the issues usually resolve itself within 24-48 hours." It's been much longer than that. I've emailed customer service 3 times, and haven't even gotten a response let alone resolution. Everything else about the app is nice, this is irritating though.
Longtime customer here. Seems as though Android development has stalled -- some obvious usability issues haven't been addressed for years. Examples: 1. On the holdings screen, switching the time range doesn't change the numbers at the top (which are one-day values). There is also no line for the "0" axis. 2. On the Net Worth screen, no way to 'scrub' the chart to see what the actual values are. 3. No way to view account balances over time (unless they are investment accounts, which you can see via the Portfolio screen). Not sure if when if any of these features are planned for any future release, but please throw us Android Users a bone every once in a while.
Still having issues with displaying accounts. In the investment section there will be no accounts. On PC and iPad app they are there.
Great app and support love it . I have all my investment account I can have a better and full picture a lot more better than other popular apps of finances I enter to this one twice a day to check all my account and investment keep getting better
