IKAT Jabodetabek is a Sangtorayan association living in Jakarta and the surrounding cities, namely Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. It was first formed in 1958 under the name Toraja Family Association (IKAT) Jakarta Raya on the initiative of old and young Toraja figures who lived in the capital Jakarta Raya at that time.

In each period the Jabodetabek IKAT has taken an important role for Sangtorayan who live in the Jakarta area and its surroundings, even being the forerunner and initiator of the establishment of the Sangtorayan organization throughout Indonesia, namely PMTI (Indonesian Toraja Community Association). IKAT Jabodetabek has done many things, for example supporting the construction of churches, helping Torajans in all aspects of life and especially being a unifying forum for Sangtorayan, supporting, helping, inspiring and fostering young Sangtorayan cadres.
