microBIOMETER® is a low cost, 20-minute on-site soil test for microbial biomass and fungal to bacterial ratio that allows you to quickly determine the health of your soil using smartphone technology. Frequent retesting will provide you with the data necessary to identify if your soil management practices are working. Quickly assess how amendments impact soil microbial biomass, ensuring your management practices are effective. Monitor changes in soil biology, increase carbon storage, and support sustainable

Soil scientist here: after comparing the results from this method to the microbiological analyses of 2 very different soil samples, I'm very unimpressed. This app gave extremely similar results for both soils, and the microscope lab analyses didn't agree at all

Amazing application to help test fungal to bacteria ratios in soil and compost fast and inexpensive on the spot. Highly recommended we use it daily in our company operations at SD Microbes.
