ChessDoku is a logic puzzle game that combines Sudoku-style deduction with the rules of chess.
Use the clues to work out where each chess piece belongs on the board. Pieces cannot be repeated where the puzzle rules do not allow it, and their movements and captures can also be part of the solution.
Some puzzles are simple and can be solved in a few steps. Others require you to combine several clues, rule out possible positions and think carefully before placing each piece.
The game starts with small 3x3 boards and gradually introduces larger and more difficult puzzles, up to 6x6 boards.
You don't need to be an expert chess player. The game uses familiar chess pieces and their basic movement and capture rules, while the puzzles are solved through logic and deduction.
