A nest cam would have sufficed....the laser pointer doesn't calibrate right, and the video quality is shoddy. The sound doesn't come through clearly, it's scratchy. I would return it if fido didn't eat the receipt....
Won't pair with my S7 samsung via Bluetooth on the start up. Tried the help line, that was no help, i was told i need to update the firmware. Ended up returning the unit. I like the idea of this product, I just hope petcube gets the bugs worked out.
What was the point of the latest app redesign? Didn't add anything but took away movement & sound notifications!
My Petcube is configured, paired, and connected to my wifi and yet when launching the live video through my phone using the application the video feed is very poor. Always freezing or buffering then shortly after cutting out entirely. Why is this? I've tried everything from resetting the petcube to reconfiguring the device and yet the video feed is beyond acceptable. Really want this to work. I'll change my review as soon as this actually works like advertised.
Petcube: there's no place to leave feedback in app, so here's my laundry list of missing pertanant features: 1. A place for customers to leave feedback. Considering this is a product for the customers, allow us to have a voice! We feel good when we rant and give you ideas. And it helps you prioritize the features, so you're building what the customers want. 2. A way to invite friends to join the app, this way I can send my friends a link to this page or an app store page to download your app. You should be all for it! Make it EASY for the customer to get you more customers!! 3. The app should run in the background, so when I leave for two seconds, I don't have to wait on that loading screen FOREVER and a half to watch it reload. 4. Speaking of the app latency, what the heck? 5. Allow us to tag our profiles and create a search so if I want to filter by cats or dogs, or see some Bengal cats in action, then I can filter down the results to the Petcube accounts that matter to me. There's a start, in no particular order. This app feels very "MVP" to me. However, 3 stars because I know features come out as they come out, I hope future updates make the app better. I do love watching my new kitten when I'm at work. Too bad she hides away most the day, I hope that changes with age. :)
