Why is this such a big deal? You need to understand something most other cat tracker manufacturers are not telling you: GPS does not work inside buildings (unless they are paper thin or you are standing next to a window).

the best GPS system for your cat. hands down no exceptions!! I recommend it to everyone who has an inside outside cat. this awesome app and collar have helped me find my crazy boy 4xs already as he likes to get stuck in places any other normal cat would avoid ( he is special). if you're on the fence jump off of it and get this system. you won't be disappointed!!

Maybe if you live next to open fields, this might work fine. In urban settings, even with big open gardens, the GPS location is mostly gibberish, the odd accurate reading. And then when the collar inevitably falls off within days, the beeper beeps once, the LED is dark, so they're both almost useless. The easiest way to find the collar is to call your cat and hope that the collar is still attached to your cat. Expensive and mostly useless. We now have our cat. No idea where the collar is!

Compared to other tracker apps this one isn't as great. Whilst the tracker is good as it's a collar rather than a box as such, the app freezes, logs me out regularly, doesn't update properly and you can't zoom in on the map for more accuracy. The "history" is not accurate. I like to see more of a timeline which is available with other trackers and you can't see battery levels as a %. Seems I'm stuck with this now but in all honesty I wish I had known about the issues prior to signing up.
