Pew Review is a community-oriented social platform for firearm enthusiasts to connect with each other, share ideas, and engage in responsible conversation about guns and venues.
Users have the ability to create a user profile, follow other users, and have a personalized activity feed that shows community posts and experiences others have shared.
The focus of Pew Review is on factual information, reviews of products, and providing an avenue for socially responsible behaviors in a law-abiding way.
Pew Review has the following major features :
- An active community activity feed where users can post pictures and videos and 'like' and comment on other users' posts
- Users can check-in at ranges they visit and share their range experiences
- Users can leave reviews and rate the firearm, accessory and shooting venues that they have visited.
- Users can use the discovery page to find shooting ranges, events, and other users within their community and to see what users have posted.
- Users can join community groups (public or private) to discuss common interests with other users
- There is built-in in-app messaging and notification system available to each user.
- Admin and admin users oversees for community moderation (reporting inappropriate content and filtering content)
All content submitted by a user will be moderated and will be reviewed for compliance with applicable laws, platform policies and community standards. Pew Review does not allow firearms or ammunition to be bought, sold or transferred through the use of Pew Review in this phase. The app is available in English only.
