The Police Families Welfare Society is a non-profit organization working under the aegis of the welfare unit of Delhi Police. It was established in the year 1972 with the prime objective of meeting the physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and financial needs of the families of the largest metropolitan police force of the country. Given the arduous and exacting nature of their duties, the society was entrusted with the overall wellbeing of the Delhi Police personnel and their families. Currently, the PFWS runs eleven welfare centres which are located at Malviya Nagar, Vikaspuri, New Police Lines, Pitampura, Shalimar Bagh, Model Town, Dwarka, Jyoti Nagar, Ahata Kidara, Narela and Hauz-Khas. A sub-centre was also inaugurated at Ashok Vihar police colony in February, 2022.

Delhi Police is one big family and the PFWS works in keeping with this sentiment. As new horizons open up and the world evolves, the society renews its commitment towards the wellbeing and betterment of its police families in keeping with the needs and requirements of the changing times.
