Most reviews tell you if someone liked a product, not if it actually lasted. Qualgevity is a product quality scanner built around the questions that matter: Does it hold up? Is it consistent? Does it do what it is supposed to do?
Scan a barcode in store or search from home to see how a product scores across the factors that actually reflect quality. Functional Effectiveness measures whether it does its job. Durability and Reliability covers whether it holds up over time. Build and Material Quality looks at how well it is physically constructed. Consistency reflects whether the quality is the same across different purchases. Not every factor applies to every product, so scores are calculated from whichever dimensions are relevant to that category.
Each product shows two scores: a recent score based on the last 90 days, and a lifetime score reflecting all ratings ever submitted. This makes it easy to spot products whose quality has improved or declined over time.
Rather than open-ended reviews, raters answer structured questions tailored to the product category. The questions asked for an automotive part are different from those asked for a skincare product. This produces more consistent, comparable data across the platform. You can also see what percentage of raters think a product is worth the price, whether they would buy it again, and the most common reasons behind high and low scores.
If a product is not in the database yet, you can submit it to be added. All submissions are reviewed before going live. No account is needed to search or view ratings. An account is only required if you want to add a product or leave a rating.
All quality data is community-reported. Qualgevity is not affiliated with any brand or retailer. Ratings should not be the sole basis for any purchasing decision. Some products may not yet be in the database.
