indxCards is a quiet, paper-style notes app for people who miss the feel of index cards without the shoebox.

Write, dictate, or scan — your notes live on your device and nowhere else. No account. No cloud account signup. No tracking.

SCAN PAPER INTO TEXT
Point your camera at a page — a recipe, a whiteboard, a page from a notebook — and indxCards turns it into clean, editable text inside a new note. Text recognition runs fully on-device. No image or recognized text is uploaded.


SPEAK INTO A NOTE
Tap the mic and talk. Your words appear live as you speak, and drop into your note when you confirm. indxCards prefers your phone's on-device speech recognizer when one is available, so most modern devices keep dictation local.


MAKE IT YOURS
Pick a paper style — lined, blank, gridded — and a top color for each card. Switch fonts per note, bold or highlight words, add bullets. Notes read like something you'd actually want to keep.


STAYS PUT
Every note is stored locally. Open the app a year later, on the same device, and it's all there. No sync, no sign-in, no lock-out.
