Ratings and reviews

It could use improvements, of course. But it's very comprehensive and user-friendly for the price. What isn't intuitive can be learned through "?" help descriptions. I hadn't read notation in years, but now I'm writing it. It was easy enough to print songs from my phone. Thanks! The Save system needs work. It's reliable, but shows a blank blue screen for a long time before verifying if saving after many additions. It seems frozen until you get used to the delay.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I had to for this app, as it is hands down the best notation app for mobile I can find. Of course there are places where it could do with improvements, and the note input system takes a bit of getting used to, but it's the only free app that allows you to make unlimited scores and instruments, with actually half decent sound quality.

A significant improvement on Chaconne - note entry is quick and intuitive, as is moving around the score and cut/copy/paste selection. The chord dictionary, however, would benefit from some expansion: it is not possible to tension chords (eg A7#11), or to enter 9ths, 13s etc which limits its use for writing lead sheets for jazz - which is mostly what I use scoring packages for. Given that the playback doesn't interpret chord symbols, I would have thought that could be implemented fairly easily.
