PIALA-YW is an Android-based reading learning tool designed to help students improve their academic literacy. This application utilizes the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) strategy and is specifically designed to support the teaching of Reading courses at universities in Southwest Papua.
This application aims to facilitate students' understanding of academic and contextual texts, as well as to develop collaborative reading and writing skills. PIALA-YW also provides digital teaching materials relevant to the local context of Southwest Papua, making learning more meaningful. Furthermore, this application can be an innovative teaching tool for lecturers.
PIALA-YW's main features include reading literacy modules (such as expository, argumentative, public opinion, popular science, and literary materials), exercises and reflections, discussion forums, and student progress tracking features.
In addition, PIALA-YW has been officially registered as an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) with certificate number EC002025161563.
