About this app

The PianoTrax app allows you to play your PianoTrax mp3s directly from your mobile device. You can stream them from your account using WiFi or a cellular connection. You can also download them onto your phone so that you can access the trax in "airplane" mode. You can connect your device to a bluetooth speaker to use for auditions. You can browse Select Songs and Shows and search the PianoTrax Store to add additional songs to your library.

Great app! Perfect for singers needing accompaniment for auditions, performances, or just singing for fun. So glad I stumbled across it. You can change the key and tempo of songs to suit you, and there are tons to choose from. The app itself is simple and easy to use. I couldn't change the key on my Android because that feature isn't available for Android users yet, but I just logged in on my fiancé's iPhone and it worked. Tom, the developer, is amazing. He responds to emails immediately and is happy to answer questions and change the song key/tempo/length for you for free. He is super nice!! Highly recommend this service.

I downloaded the PianoTrax app recently. My first purchase of a track was simple and the quality of the recording was excellent. App instructions say that changing the key and tempo of a purchased track is available on Apple devices. I was able to change key and tempo on my Android device as well. When downloading a track to use when no wifi is available the file is stored in the app cache, not the phone's download folder. Staff is quick to respond, patient and helpful. Great experience.

I love this app! The library of songs is voluminous. The ability to purchase some songs in varying keys if very convenient. Tom plays with depth of feeling. I haven't taken the plunge to buy a subscription, but I've used the app numerous times in the last six months and am always satisfied. I would recommend the app to anyone in need of accompaniments.
