Piatto Pro POS – Restaurant Point-of-Sale Made Simple

Important Note About File Access (Required for Admin Features)
Piatto Pro POS includes manager/admin tools for maintaining POS data. These tools allow the user to back up or restore the local POS database, export operational reports, and use configuration files generated by printers or other POS hardware.
Restaurants often use shared devices with multiple staff members, each storing backups or configuration files in different folders. For this reason, the app may request All Files Access so managers can select and manage files stored in custom directories outside the app folder.
These file operations are required for:
• Database backup and restore
• Migration from legacy systems
• Importing/exporting reports
• Reading printer or hardware configuration files
Regular staff operations do not require this permission.
