Point your phone at a home and find out its story.

PicAHome uses your camera and your location to work out which house you are standing in front of, then tells you what is on record about it. No address to type, no listing to find first.

CHALLENGE A FRIEND

Send any home to a friend and see if they can guess what it last sold for. They don't need the app, the link opens in their browser with your photo of the house and a slider. The moment they guess, you get a notification with their name and how close they were, and a leaderboard shows who came closest.

Follow a street you care about and we will tell you when something changes on it, a new listing, a price cut, something going under offer. Save the homes you love and come back to them any time.

HOW IT WORKS

Stand outside a home in England or Wales, open PicAHome, and take a photo. We work out which house you meant from where you are standing and which way you are facing, and show you what we know. If we pick the wrong one, the whole street is right there to choose from. No camera handy? Search any address by postcode instead.

WHAT IT IS NOT

PicAHome is for general information. Sold prices come from HM Land Registry and appear two to three months after a sale completes. Some information is estimated, and some homes have very little on record. It is not a valuation, and it is not advice, check with an estate agent, surveyor or conveyancer before acting on anything you see here.

England and Wales only. Sold price data is not published for Scotland or Northern Ireland.

What’s new

Challenge a friend: send any home and see if they can guess what it last sold for no app needed on their side. You get a notification the moment they guess, with their name and how close they were, and their page shows the house on a map.

Also: creating an account now asks you to agree to our Terms (covers Apple and Google sign-in too). Rooms are labelled as habitable rooms and the floor area shows its year.
