Korean language only: all of the game's text is in Korean, with no English translation.
March 14th, 4:12 a.m., in a tech park outside Seoul. The payment servers go down and Han Minwoo fixes it alone. The same day, at forty-two, he is told to resign.
Six months later the head of his home village calls. His mother is unwell. Someone has been looking after her, so don't worry - just come home. Then a text from an unknown number: "Minwoo, don't worry about your mother. I'll be waiting."
Route 37. The radio dial drifts on its own, and something like breathing leaks through the static at 88.3 MHz. Past the Songrim tunnel, at his mother's house, a woman in an apron comes out to meet him.
Seo Yujin. His first love from the high school broadcasting club. She has been caring for his mother for three years - and after all this time, she hasn't aged a day.
Warm stew, a kind voice, timing that is a little too perfect. Eyes that blink every four seconds, exactly. A locked bedroom. The smell from the herbal-medicine pot in the kitchen.
At dinner, Minwoo has to choose. The clock is already running.
- SILENCE IS A CHOICE, TOO
Every big decision is made against a clock. Hesitate and the story chooses for you - the safe default, or a price to pay. More than 130 scenes run on a timer.
- FOUR NUMBERS DECIDE THE STORY
Sanity, Suspicion, Sync and Keys. The four numbers on screen decide what you can do now and how it all ends. Options you can't take yet aren't hidden - they are shown locked, with what they need ("Sanity 50 or more"). As sanity slips, the screen blurs, the text glitches, and things that weren't there begin to appear.
- 10 ENDINGS, OVER 1,100 SCENES
A prologue and seven chapters over five days, branching as you go. A flowchart shows the paths you have walked and lets you return to any chapter you have reached. Every ending you find stays in the gallery.
- THINK YOUR WAY THROUGH
Tune a radio to a hidden signal, crack a code, route a circuit, search the dark with a torch, cross a fog-bound maze, hold your breath while a gaze sweeps past, repeat a glowing sequence, put scrambled logs in order. Eight kinds of mini game are woven through the story. Losing never ends the game - it costs you.
- A PICTURE FOR EVERY MOMENT
Over 300 illustrations, cinematic clips at the turning points, and music that follows the mood of each scene.
- SAVE FREELY, LOAD CAREFULLY
Twelve manual save slots and save prompts at checkpoints - but only ten loads per playthrough. Even undoing has a cost. (Continuing from the autosave is free.)
- READ IT YOUR WAY
Four text sizes, high contrast, reduce motion (no shake, glitches or flashes), adjustable choice timers (relaxed, normal, tense or off), puzzle assist, skip read text, auto mode, a backlog and a notebook of clues.
Play with mouse and keyboard, or touch.
Contains horror, blood and wounds, death, body horror and scenes of sedative injections.
Korean language only.
Laid off at 42, he goes home. His first love is there. She hasn't aged a day.
