planepicker connects you with nearby friends directly between phones — no cellular, no Wi-Fi, no servers required.

Perfect for:
- Flights when you're in airplane mode but want to keep chatting with friends in other seats
- Subways, tunnels, mountains, festivals, anywhere cellular drops
- Concerts, classrooms, conferences where you want a private side-channel
- Travel groups exploring places with weak data

How it works:
- Bluetooth + Wi-Fi Aware discover friends nearby automatically
- Messages are end-to-end encrypted on your device
- Nothing leaves your phone — no servers, no accounts, no tracking
- Group rooms with up to 8 friends

Built for privacy:
- Data is not collected by the developer
- Encryption uses Apple's standard cryptography (Ed25519, X25519, AES-256-GCM)
- All messages live only on your device
