Point your camera at a poster, pick an image from your gallery, or share one to PictoCal from any app. It reads the dates, times, titles and places out of the picture and shows you what it found. You check it, fix anything that's wrong, choose which of your calendars it should go to, and that's it.
Nothing is saved to your calendar until you say so. Every event is editable first, and the Sent tab keeps a record of everything PictoCal has added.
WHAT IT'S GOOD AT
• Posters and flyers
• Screenshots of messages and social posts
• Photos of printed programmes and agendas
• Several events in one image at once
FREE AND PRO
PictoCal is free to use, on a service shared by everyone using the app. When the day's shared capacity runs out, scanning pauses until the next day.
PictoCal Pro gives you 155 scans a month on a dedicated service that never waits for the shared pool.
PRIVACY
The picture you scan is sent to Google's Gemini API to be read. That is the only content that leaves your device — PictoCal also checks with Google Play to verify the app and your subscription, which carries no images or calendar data.
Your calendar never leaves your phone. PictoCal reads the list of your calendars and writes the events you approve, and that is all. No account, no analytics, no advertising.
