What happened? This app now applies some garbage post processing to every image? Totally destroys functionality.

I bought the PictoScanner hardware and used it together with this app. The hardware is simple and the app is even simpler, lacking allmost all features. I got better results with the stock camera app. This solution is simple and quick but the quality is not very good.
