About this app
Filament Manager keeps a clear record of the filament currently loaded in each of your 3D printers. It works offline and does not require an account or server.
Create printers with custom names and assign one or more independent filament positions to each printer. For every position, record the material, RGB color, remaining weight, manufacturer, commercial name, spool weights, purchase date, storage location, batch and notes.

The OpenPrintTag codec and write-region logic pass automated tests using the official test vector. Reading and writing a physical Prusa spool is still awaiting hardware validation, so NFC writing should currently be treated as experimental.
Your inventory stays on your device in local-only mode. When you explicitly connect your own FilamentManager Server, inventory changes synchronize with that server over HTTPS. Passwords are not stored; authentication tokens use Android secure storage.

What’s new
Fixed an NFC issue where some OpenPrintTag scans could close without importing data or showing an error. Valid spool data is now preserved when an optional tag value is malformed, and unexpected decoding failures display a clear message.
