About this app

Pulse PIN - Full Description

Pulse PIN is private, ephemeral messaging designed for simple, temporary communication.

No phone number.
No registration.
No permanent message history.

Every user receives a unique 6-digit Pulse PIN that acts as their identity within the app. Share your PIN with someone you want to communicate with, and they can send you a Pulse message.

Messages designed to disappear

Pulse is built around the idea of ephemeral communication.

Messages are temporary. Once a message is viewed, it is removed according to the app's ephemeral messaging mechanism. Messages that remain unviewed are also subject to automatic expiry.

Privacy for Women, Children & Families

Privacy can be especially important for women, children, and families who may not always want to share a personal mobile number or maintain a permanent messaging history.

Pulse PIN provides a simple alternative: communicate using a 6-digit PIN instead of a phone number, with messages designed to disappear after they are viewed or expire.

This can be useful for situations where someone needs to communicate temporarily while keeping their personal contact details private - such as sharing a contact point, coordinating a meeting, communicating with a service provider, or having a short-lived conversation.

For parents and guardians, Pulse can also be introduced as a privacy-conscious communication tool for appropriate, supervised use by children and young people.

Important: Pulse is a communication tool, not a substitute for parental supervision, safeguarding measures, or emergency services. Users should never share sensitive personal information with people they do not trust.

There is no traditional inbox designed to build a permanent conversation history.

Simple PIN-based communication

Your Pulse PIN is your identity.

No mobile number required
No account registration
No usernames to remember
Share your PIN when you want someone to reach you
Tap a received message to quickly respond to the sender
Designed for focused, temporary communication

Pulse keeps messaging intentionally simple.

Send a message, receive a message, view it, respond if needed, and let it disappear.

Notifications are designed to remain unobtrusive, with messages from the same sender consolidated rather than unnecessarily filling the notification bar.

Your PIN, your choice

You can generate a new Pulse PIN when needed. Your PIN determines where new Pulse messages are delivered.

Built with privacy in mind

Pulse is designed around temporary communication rather than maintaining a permanent messaging history. The application does not require a traditional mobile-number-based registration process.

Use responsibly

Pulse is intended for lawful and responsible communication.

Do not use Pulse for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited activities. By using Pulse, you agree to use the application only for lawful purposes.

Pulse is an ephemeral communication application and should not be relied upon as a permanent record, archival communication service, or guaranteed message-recovery system.
