PingPoint Driver is the companion app for truck drivers whose loads are dispatched through the PingPoint platform. It is built for one job: keeping your dispatcher and broker informed about where their load is while you drive it.
How it works
Your broker or dispatcher assigns you a load and sends you a link. Open the link and the app signs you in — there are no accounts or passwords to manage. Your assigned load appears with its pickup and delivery stops, addresses, rate, commodity, weight and equipment type.
Location sharing
This app shares your truck's live location with the dispatcher and broker of your active load, including while the app is closed or your screen is off. Location sharing is explained on a consent screen before it starts, and it begins only after you agree. Tracking runs only while you have an active load, stops automatically after delivery, and can be paused at any time with a single button on the load card. A permanent notification is shown whenever tracking is active.
Automatic stop detection
The app records your arrivals and departures at pickup and delivery stops automatically, so you rarely need to touch the screen while working. You can also mark them manually.
Engine telemetry
If your truck is equipped with a supported Bluetooth engine-data adapter, PingPoint Driver reads engine telemetry such as road speed, odometer, engine hours and fault codes, and attaches it to your trips.
Also included
Truck-aware navigation, mileage summaries for fuel-tax reporting, a full history of your completed loads, and a dark interface designed to stay readable at night.
