About this game

Every garden hides a few sleepy pups. Your job is to find them all.

Dachsel Den is a gentle puzzle about looking closely and thinking it
through. Each garden is split into coloured patches, and exactly one pup
naps in every patch. Pups are shy: no two ever share a row or a column,
and none will settle right beside another, not even corner to corner.
Every garden has exactly one answer, and you can always reason your way
to it.

HOW TO PLAY
Press a patch once to scuff a little "no pup here" mark. Press twice to
dig. Drag to scuff a whole trail at once. Get it right and a pup pops out
to say hello. Dig in the wrong spot and it costs you a heart, so think
first. Stuck? A hint will show you a pup, but it costs a heart too.

TAKE THE PATROL TRAIL
A long trail of gardens that starts gentle and keeps growing. The ground
under your paws keeps changing as you go: square plots, triangles,
honeycombs, and grids of each. Solve one and the next is already waiting.

PICK YOUR OWN PATCH
Prefer to choose? Every board shape comes in four sizes, from a snug
Flowerbed to a sprawling Prairie. Play whichever you fancy, whenever you
like.

EARN YOUR STRIPES
Clean patrols earn stars, and your best runs are remembered. Fill out a
sticker book as you go.

MADE FOR ALL AGES
Built to be playable by a young child and still worth a grown up's time.
Soft pastel gardens, a friendly pup, and rules simple enough to explain
in one sentence.

EASY ON THE EYES
Patches are told apart by colour AND by a shape stamped on each one, so
they stay readable if you do not see colour the usual way. Dark ink on
pale ground throughout.

What’s new

New in Dachsel Den:

- The optional "watch a video ad" reward for extra hearts or a token is now clearly labeled as an ad. Always your choice, never required to play.
- Puzzle boards polished: the Triangle Grid gardens are wider with their diagonals lined up correctly, each board's size now matches its true shape, and cells you have finished gently fade so what is left stands out.
